ROCK HOME
Thanks for making our 9th Annual ROCK THE CURE event
the most successful yet!
Thanks so much to everyone who made our 9th Annual
Rock The Cure
event the most successful ever!
Concentual,
Molly Maher
and
GB Leighton

huge success, and everyone had a blast while raising
tons of money for Minnesota breast and ovarian cancer
charities.
Check back soon to see some of the donation totals,
and pictures from our two great nights of
Rock
The Cure!

called Molly "the Twin Cities' Great Alt Hope".

GB Leighton
playing originals and covers that will keep you on the dance
floor all night. Whether you've seen the band before or not, we
can guarantee that you've never seen them do a Rock The Cure
show before! Fabulous energy, great fun - Brian himself is a
cancer survivor, and he knows how important this cause is!
-
8pm to 11
pm: Silent Auction and merchandise sale
Once
again, we'll be offering a selection of fabulous
Rock The Cure
t-shirts and hats, and holding a silent auction. Back by popular
demand is a highlight of last year's silent auction - the
Blue Door Pub dinner for 30
people, with a 90 minute acoustic set from our friends in the
band Concentual.
This party was a blast last year, and there's sure to be a
bidding war again this time around! Get your friends together,
go in on it as a group. Pat and Jeremy from the Blue Door Pub
provided an amazing evening last summer, bringing burgers,
wings, salad and more to our lucky winner's back yard.
Also
available at our silent action are pink-ribbon NFL footballs
autographed by Brett Favre and Matt Birk,
autographed pink and black Swarm lacrosse game jersey, hotel and
massage gift certificates, and more!
And don't forget: For a limited time only, Blue Door Pub Boobie
Blucy Baskets
From Friday, April 30th through Mother's Day, May 8th, the Boobies
are back! For $6, you get two blue cheese and garlic stuffed mini
blucys, and your choice of tater tots or hand cut fries. It's a
great, delicious deal, especially when you remember that $3 from
every basket sold goes directly to Rock The Cure! And new this year,
if you order one of the special tap beers selected to go with the
Boobie basket deal, $1 from every pint will be donated as well. Keep
an eye out for Blue Door Pub limited edition t-shirts that say
"Fighting women's cancers one Boobie at a time"!
